It is the great Honor for Sahibganj Town that Eastern Railway is leading a vital role for social welfare, as a means of education for Railwaymen (who are posted either at Sahibganj or near to Sahibganj as well as local civilian) since 15.02.1878 by running a Railway School at Railway premises of Sahibganj.
This school was previously known as “EDWARD HIGH SCHOOL SAHIBGANJ” and it has been running since 1878.
Previously, this school was operated for class III to XII under affiliation of BIHAR SCHOOL EXAMINATION BOARD, PATNA till bifurcation of BIHAR and JHARKHAND state.
However, this school is presently being operated up to class III to X since 2023 under CBSE Delhi.
